A MEETING with the Prince of Wales has left a group of Chard and Ilminster residents “honoured” and “delighted.”
The encounter took place during Prince William’s visit to the Archie Gooch Pavilion in Ilminster on Tuesday, October 6, which was chosen as the venue to launch Ready Together.
Ambitions Somerset, a day opportunities service for adults with additional needs, regularly uses the pavilion for its activities and was in attendance on the day.
Co-founders Alex Crick and Chris Stuckey said: "He took the time to come and say hello, chat with us and genuinely get to know each of us, who we are and what we do.
"We feel incredibly lucky and truly honoured to have met him.

Mr Newton said: "It was a pleasure and an honour to meet Prince William.
