A PERSON has been rescued by fire crews after becoming trapped in a two-vehicle collision on the A30 near Chard.
The crash happened near Yarcombe at around 1.18pm on Monday, August 31.
Fire crews from Honiton and Chard Fire Stations attended the scene.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival, crews confirmed that this was a two-vehicle collision with one person still trapped inside one of the vehicles.
"Crews used cutting equipment to release the casualty."
The incident remains ongoing, with a road closure in place causing delays along the A30 and A303 in Somerset from the Taunton turn-off.
