Chard
Cinechard Film Night
Cinechard Film Night is set to feature Song Sung Blue this week.
The non-profit community cinema, which screens films every second Friday of the month, will host the event on Friday, July 17, in the Chard Guildhall.
Doors open at 7pm for the 7.30pm screening.
Tickets bought in advance cost £6 for adults and £3 for those under 14.
Tickets bought at the door are slightly more, at £7 and £3.50.
Advance tickets can be purchased in cash from CommuniTEA Waffle, Eleos, and the Post Office.

Crewkerne
South Somerset Community Choir 10th Anniversary Concert
The South Somerset Community Choir will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a concert this weekend.
The choir, which is a fun, un-auditioned choir that meets most Monday evenings at the South Somerset Music Centre, will hold its concert at Crewkerne Methodist Church on Saturday, July 18.
Music includes everything from show tunes, folk songs and jazz standards to popular songs.
The concert will take place from 3pm to 4.30pm.

Games Evening at the Cider Farm
A games evening with catering has been organised at an orchard near Crewkerne this weekend.
The event will take place from 4pm on Saturday, July 18, at North Down Orchard in Haselbury Plucknett.
Attendees can take part in games such as Kubb and Cornhole.
The Hogg Boss will provide food, and a bar service will also be available.
Organisers have encouraged guests to bring along friends and share other games.
The event is open to everyone.
Ilminster
Kings of the Blues
A live show in Ilminster will trace the development of blues from its origins to the modern day.
Kings of the Blues, led by guitarist Will Edmunds, will take place at Ilminster Arts Centre on Friday, July 17, from 7.30pm to 10pm.
Mr Edmunds, who plays in UK country group The Reckless Breed, is joined by Tom Gilkes on drums and Jerry Soffe on bass for the show.
The performance will cover acoustic Delta and country blues, the electrified Chicago sound of the 1950s, the era of the 'Three Kings', the British blues explosion, the blues-rock of the late 20th century, and beyond.

Yeovil
Thank ABBA For The Music
A two-hour ABBA tribute show is heading to Yeovil for one night only.
Thank ABBA For The Music will hit the Westlands Entertainment Venue stage on Saturday, July 18.
The two-hour show will feature a range of hits, including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, and Waterloo.
The performance features a cast of singers, choreography and interactive video projection.
Organisers are encouraging fancy dress, although this is optional.
The show is not affiliated with ABBA and is solely a tribute performance.
Tickets are priced at £28, with concession tickets available for £26 and discounts for Footlights members.

Home I'm Darling
A play is taking to the stage in Yeovil from next week.
Home, I'm Darling by Laura Wade will be performed at the Swan Theatre from Monday, July 20.

The play follows Judy and Johnny, who live in a 1950s dream home.
However, the audience later learns that their lives are not as perfect as things originally seem.
