Somerset County League, Division One – Combe St Nicholas 4-0 Glastonbury
Combe St Nicholas stayed top of division one with a resounding victory over Glastonbury on Saturday (April 11).
With the sun shining down on them, Combe strolled to an emphatic win in their penultimate home game of the 2025-26 season.
While Combe were winning, second placed Portishead Town Reserves were not in action, meaning Combe have extended their lead to four points. Portishead Reserves have two games left this season.
Elsewhere, Ashcott lost to Wrington Redhill and Imperial boosted their top-three hopes with a 1-0 win at Sporting Weston. Peasedown Miners Welfare also won in a seven-goal thriller against Keynsham Town Reserves.
Winscombe moved into the top half with a comfortable win at Clutton.
Portishead Town Reserves can close the gap on Combe with they host third-placed Ashcott on Tuesday night before Combe are back in action on Saturday (April 18) at home to Bishop Sutton.
