It was nice to return to Zembard Lane on Saturday as the first team last played there on 13 December.
The visitors were Stockwood Wanderers, always a high-scoring game.
After 15m, Jordon Clapp scored the first goal of the afternoon.
15m later, Stockwood Wanderers got an equaliser.
Chard are a good, hard-working team this season, and 5m later, Jordon Clapp got his second of the game.

The second half started, and Stockwood tried to get into the game, but Chard stayed strong and prevented them getting an equaliser.
On 65m, Jordon Clapp got his hat-trick and 11th goal of the season.

Again, Stockwood Wanderers upped their game and pressed for a goal, and 5m from the end, they got their second goal.

It was good to see James Boyland return to the team from the bench, coming on for player of the match Jordon Clapp.
Tom Redwood, making his first start for Chard Town, was great to see, and Tom Boyland on the bench came on for Cruz Baker.
The spirit in the football club is fantastic, and players are realising it's Chard Town FC where they need to be.
Next week, Chard Town are at home again against Worle, KO 2pm (the last one, back to 3pm after this game).
