If Chard Town do manage to get their game on this weekend away at Ashton & Backwell, it will have been more than a month since their last league fixture.
The Robins last kicked a ball in anger back on January 10 when they faced Fry Club away from home in a 2-1 defeat.
Ashton & Backwell meanwhile are relatively fresh, having last played away at Congresbury in a 1-1 draw on January 31.
Chard’s lack of match action has seen them drop down to 11th in Somerset County League Premier Division but they have as much as five games in hand on teams around them.
Ashton & Backwell on the other hand are still in the promotion hunt although they are one of three teams to have played 20 games so far this season.
The last time the two sides faced off was in October when Chard won 5-4 on penalties in the Premier and First Division Cup.
