A group that formed in response to a plea for help at Chard Reservoir is set to share its aims with the broader community.
The meeting at Chard Town Football Club on Wednesday, January 14, at 6.30pm, is being hosted by the Friends of Chard Reservoir and is open to all.
The group was formed after being motivated by a poster in May 2025, asking for support at the reservoir and nature reserve.
They were led by Hannah Stanton, a green estates ranger.
The Friends of Chard Reservoir seek to act as a hub of community involvement, with a focus on enhancing health and wellbeing.
The upcoming meeting aims to be a platform where locals can exchange ideas on how best to manage the nature reserve, all while ensuring that the wildlife and habitats face no negative impact.
