A FOODBANK is bringing back its free breakfast scheme for the half-term holiday.

The Lord’s Larder in Chard said they will give free bags that can last a week to all those who need help during the holiday.

A spokesperson for the foodbank said: “Holiday Breakfast Bags are back for the half term holiday.

“Do you think it may help you and your family to start the day with a good, solid breakfast?

“We will give you a free, no questions asked bag/s, to last a week, which will contain everything that is needed, regardless of your family size.

“Just turn up at the St Mary’s Centre on Saturday, May 25 between 8am and 10am.

“Anyone from the family can come to pick them up.

“Stay and join us for coffee and toast while you here.”
