THE Friends of Chard School are inviting residents to their annual Christmas Fair.

The doors open from noon to 2.30pm on Saturday, December 2 at the school on Fore Street.

“Our festive gathering offers a delightful experience for our local community.

“At the heart of this year's event is the much-anticipated ticketed Santa's Grotto and Workshop experience, a sold-out attraction due to the overwhelming support from our community.

“For those without tickets to the Grotto, fear not, the Winter Wonderland and Santa's sleigh provide equally enjoyable experiences, with complimentary entry and ample photo opportunities.

“The free-entry Christmas Fair caters to all ages with a range of activities.

“Treat yourself to: a hot chocolate adorned with cream and marshmallows; mulled wine and mulled cider; bacon brie and cranberry rolls; festive soup; and homemade cakes, coffee, and tea.

“The fair offers a range of activities, including sing-along Christmas carols around the piano; face-painting, hair chalks, and festive temporary tattoos, a raffle, chocolate tombola, stalls, and Tytherleigh Farm Shop will also be on-site with festive wreaths to purchase.

“The Christmas Fair represents Chard School's commitment to fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere for the entire community.

“With ample seating for adults and a range of activities for children, it promises to be a wonderful experience.

“Please Join us at Chard School on 2nd December 2023. We can’t wait to see you.”
