A ROAD in Ilminster will close for three days due to Wessex Water repair works.
Ilminster Town Council said the closure will affect Blackdown View from Wednesday, November 2 to Friday, November 4.
The closure will allow Wessex Water to repair a leak.
The town council’s message, published on its website, said: “Please be aware that we have received a notification of a TTRN (urgent/emergency) road closure at Blackdown View, Ilminster will commence on 2nd November 2022 – 4th November 2022 (00:00 – 23:59) for a total of 3 days.
“This will enable Wessex Water to carry out work to repair a leak.
“The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services through the site is not permitted on this occasion.
“For any further information about this closure please contact Wessex Water on 0345 600 4600, quoting reference: ttro58748SS.”
“Visit one.network to see the map of the affected area (in red), together with the supplied diversion route.
“Please note: this diversion route could be subject to change on review.”
