A MAN has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash near Ilminster.
The incident took place this morning, Monday, October 3 on the Southfields roundabout on the A303, and involved a lorry and a van, police said.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said the service sent a double-crewed ambulance.
The full statement read: “We were called at 09.07hrs to a road traffic incident in the Ilminster area. We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient to Yeovil District Hospital.”
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 9.04am today (Monday 3 October), to attend the Southfields roundabout on the A303 following a collision involving a lorry and a van.
"One man was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries."
