A MOTORCYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on the A30 near Cricket St Thomas.
The incident took place on Saturday, September 24 at around 3.30pm and involved a car and a motorcycle.
Avon and Somerset Police said the motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Police also said the road was closed.
On Saturday, a spokesperson said: “At around a 3.30pm today a car and a motorcycle collided on the A30 near Cricket St Thomas, Chard.
“The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries. The road is closed to allow enquiries to be carried out at the scene.
“Motorists are currently advised to use alternative routes.”
