NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 15 of South Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to eight restaurants, cafes, or canteens:
• Rated 5: Royalty Takeaway LTD at 6 Union Street, Yeovil; rated on August 19
• Rated 5: Texas Rocks at 70 Middle Street, Yeovil; rated on August 19
• Rated 5: Boswells Cafe at 2 Ivel Square, Yeovil; rated on August 16
• Rated 5: Cafe Nero at 17 High Street, Yeovil; rated on August 16
• Rated 5: McDonald's Restaurants Ltd at Lysander Road, Yeovil; rated on August 16
• Rated 5: Kitchen at Great Bow Wharf, Bow Street, Langport; rated on August 10
• Rated 5: Brown & Forrest Smokery Restaurant at Bowdens Farm, Hambridge, Langport; rated on August 9
• Rated 5: Cat's Cafe at 23 High Street, Bruton; rated on August 3
