- The A30 has been cleared following a fire this morning that destroyed a tractor near the Windwhistle Inn close to Cricket St Thomas between Chard and Crewkerne.
- A Devon & Somerset Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The tractor was destroyed by fire and the trailer was partially damaged. An area of hedgerow was also damaged in the fire, which started accidentally.”
- The A30 was partially blocked while the emergency services were at the scene.
