A CHARD man woke this morning to discover vandals had smashed the windscreen of his horse lorry.
Renny Jones said the vehicle is used to transport his three rescue animals.
Following last night's incident (Saturday, July 9) he reacted with a message to the Chard and Ilminster News.
He said: "Just to let you know that someone in Chard thought it acceptable to do this to our horse lorry last night.
"We have three rescue animals and this is all we can afford but one of our lovely neighbours (someone living in the town) did this."
