SUSPECTED STOLEN: The items recovered by police in Chard
POLICE in Chard seized several items of suspected stolen property during an operation in Chard yesterday (Wednesday, January 19).
Also during the search, the officers also came across a metal bar which could have been potentially used as a weapon.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police's South Somerset team said: "PC Hollick and PCSOs Trace and Martin have seized several items of suspected stolen property in Chard.
"While conducting a search a metal bar which was for the sole purpose of being a weapon was also seized."
