A MAN who handed a purse into a police station is being asked to contact the police.
The black purse was dropped through the letterbox at Chard's Police Station about at about 9am on Friday, November 12.
Avon and Somerset Police want to talk to the man to find out where he found the purse.
This is because he could be a witness to a burglary that is being investigated.
"We are asking the man, pictured, who recently kindly handed in a purse he found to get in touch with us," said a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police.
"We’d ask him, or anyone who recognises him, to contact us on 101 and giving reference number 5221165174."
