CHARD Carnival returned with a bang - but no carts - drawing hundreds to the streets.
A colourful celebrationof all things carnival took place throughout yesterday (Saturday), culminating in a parade through the town on foot, as clubs dusted off old costumes and props for the night, or created new ones for the occasion.
It was the end to a frenetic week of carnuval activities which began on Monday (October 4).
