A WOMAN was trapped in a car after a road traffic collision yesterday afternoon (July 27).
Fire crews from Axminster and Chard attended the incident in All Saints around 3pm.
The vehicle had overturned and the casualty was trapped inside, but luckily fire crews managed to release her.
Once she was released, she was taken to hospital.
"Crews used small tools, a reciprocating saw and a trauma pack and assisted paramedics with the extrication of the female," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
