MEN, women and young people will come together at about 6,000 events across the UK on Friday, March 2, to learn, pray and enjoy friendship.
Across the globe, about 170 countries will support the annual circle of prayer. This year’s service is entitled Let Justice Prevail and will reflect the concerns and hopes of Christian women in Malaysia who prepared the theme.
In and around Ilminster three colourful events will be planned to offer choice and convenience on March 2 at 10.30am at St Peter’s Church, Horton; at 2pm in the Minster Rooms, Ilminster, hosted by the Methodist Church; and from 6.30pm for 7pm start at Monks Yard at Horton Cross.
Tickets for the evening event include a meal and cost £9.50. They are available from Sue Parsons on 01460-54581.
