PERSONAL assistants from across the region are invited to the launch of a new club aiming to help them share their expertise in Taunton on Thursday.
Exchange House, in the Crescent, is launching a new club for personal assistants, executive assistants and private secretaries. The aim of the club is to provide an opportunity for peers to share knowledge and skills, network with each other and enjoy presentations and debates with expert guests in an informal and friendly environment.
The Exchange House PA Club, which is free to join, will hold its inaugural meeting on Thursday, September 22, with a drinks reception from 6-8pm.
Diana Thompson, the club’s chair, will welcome members and invite suggestions for future agendas. Diana, who is PA to the chairman and chief executive of Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, said: “In the course of my work I speak to many PAs in different organisations but have never had the chance to meet them. I am therefore delighted that senior office staff will now have an opportunity to get together and share expertise, and hopefully learn lots more at the same time.” Anyone interested in attending the launch night of the Exchange House PA Club should contact group secretary Samm Barge on samm.barge@djblaw.co.uk or 01823-328062.
