A CAMPAIGN to save South Petherton library continues to move on this week.
At the parish council meeting on Monday there was an update on the progress of the campaign.
So far the Facebook group has 17 members, the online petition has 122 signatures and the information centre in the village has collected several pages worth of signatures, with around 20 people visiting each day.
The campaign is targeting 1,000 signatures by Christmas.
Cllr Paul Robathan has been to Buckinghamshire on a fact-finding mission to look at their library service and research possible options for the village library.
It is hoped a public meeting will be held in the village before the end of December to find out more about the services people want from their library.
