ENERGETIC youngsters at Combe St Nicholas Primary School took their marks for a summer sports day today.
Pupils from the whole school battled it out in a series of fun-filled competitions, cheered on by classmates and parents.
Among the events were sack and egg and spoon races, beanbag relays, hurdles and sprinting.
Head teacher Lesley Watson said: “It was a brilliant day and we were very lucky with the weather.
“All the children really enjoyed it.”
