ILMINSTER Entertainment Society will stage their latest production at the Warehouse Theatre next week.

The group presents Terence Rattigan’s masterpiece, The Deep Blue Sea, from Wednesday, June 30, until Saturday, July 3.

Set in 1950, the play tells the story of unequal love between two people struggling to come to terms with an England where peace, austerity and the new opportunities of a changed world are not always comfortable companions.

The performances start at 7.30pm nightly and tickets cost £7.50 full price, £7 concessions and £4.50 for students – available from Lanes Garden Shop, 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday, or the Warehouse box office, 7pm to 8pm, Monday and Wednesday.
