MARIE Curie Cancer Care is asking ladies from across the region to put their foot down for charity as part of the Ladies Driving Challenge.
The infamous challenge is back again, offering women the chance to get behind the wheel of unusual and challenging vehicles – anything from an HGV and double-decker bus to a milk float or a JCB!
Drivers will be put through their paces at Merryfield Airfield, between Ilminster and Taunton, on Saturday, March 7, next year.
In order to enter, participants are required to raise £100 in sponsorship and pay a registration fee of £10. All monies raised go to Marie Curie Cancer Care, who provide high-quality nursing care, free of charge, giving terminally ill people the choice to die at home supported by their families.
Gift certificates are available for the Driving Challenge and make an excellent present for a special woman.
For an information pack and entry form, contact Amy Llewellyn on 01460-271230.
