LESS than a week to my driving test-the pressure is building but I feel ready and just want to get going and get it over with now.
We have done a couple mini mock tests on my lessons, but not a proper one, although I feel more prepared at what to expect.
I feel like I would be comfortable and confident enough to drive on my own now-so lets hope I can live up to my own expectations.
Actually feels like I have been learning for ages but it has gone stupidly fast at the same time.
If the test was just driving in a fairly straight line, with the occasional stop and start, I think I would be fine.
The real hurdle with me is the manoeuvres, it is strange because things that I could do before, I can’t do any more.
So the other day I sat down with one of my learning to drive books, and read up on the theoretical side.
You know, full right lock, full left lock, what angle to get etc etc.
And surprisingly, it worked, in my lesson I felt more comfortable and felt like I understood how to make the car go where I wanted it to go.
So keep your fingers, toes, arms and legs all crossed for me-and look out for a very nervous looking person next Thursday morning!!
