And I'm not talking Crème de Menthe in case you were wondering!
A short while ago, I started 'Somerset Green Drinks'.

As the website at www.GreenDrinks.org simply puts it, "Every month, people who work in (or simply want to get involved in) the environmental field, meet up for a beer at informal sessions known as 'Green Drinks'.
Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "Are you green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there! It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts.
Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network."
The next one is set for this Thursday 17th May - put it in your diary!
It's held in a fabulous venue called 'The Gallery' at the back of Hooked on Books in Holyrood Street, Chard and proceedings kick off around 7.30pm.
Do click on the Green Drinks link above and select 'Somerset' for full details.
With each meeting, it seems to be gathering pace and numbers, so please accept this as my personal invitation for you to come along and see what it's all about!
If you have something 'slow and green' to fly the flag about, please bring your leaflets and flyers along too for all to see.
