TWO people have been rushed to hospital after a three-vehicle crash involving a tractor on a key road in Somerset.
The collision happened just before 9am on Thursday, September 10, at Lopen Head near South Petherton and involved a red Nissan Juke, a grey Nissan van, and a tractor towing a trailer.
The driver and passenger of the van were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
No one else required hospital treatment.
The road was closed following the incident, causing some disruption on the road this morning, but police said it had reopened by 11.15am.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Police were called to Lopen Head near South Petherton just before 9am on Thursday 10 September, following a collision on the roundabout.
"Police, fire and ambulance all attended the three-vehicle collision which involved a red Nissan Juke, a grey Nissan van and a tractor towing a trailer.
"The van driver and passenger went to hospital by ambulance, with injuries not believed to be either life-threatening or life-changing.
"No one else needed hospital treatment.
"The road reopened by 11.15am.
"If you have any information which could help police enquiries into the collision, and did not speak with officers at the scene, please call 101 and give the reference 5226260128."
Police said their enquiries remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 08:57hrs on Thursday 10 September to a road traffic collision near South Petherton.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
