A SOMERSET man has been jailed for stalking, assaulting a police officer and breaching the notification rules for registered sex offenders.
Janick Wilson, 33, of no fixed address in Yeovil, was sentenced at Taunton Crown Court on Friday, August 28.
Court listings say Wilson threatened and repeatedly messaged someone in Somerset between July 22 last year and January 17 this year, using several aliases.
The stalking made the victim fear violence at least twice.
The listings say Wilson assaulted a police officer carrying out his duties in Yeovil on September 30 last year.

The listings say Wilson failed to register the alias James Bong within three days of using it in Henstridge on July 22, 2025, and failed to register his no-fixed-address status within seven days of July 21.
On January 22, Wilson also failed to make his weekly notification at the prescribed police station.
That meant Wilson breached his notification requirements as a registered sex offender.
The listings say Wilson also failed to register an online alias with the police within three days of using it in Yeovil on September 12.
Wilson was jailed for a total custodial period of 30 months.
He is also under a restraining order for five years, lasting until August 27, 2031.
