A footpath in Yeovil will close for three days for ducting works this month.

The pathway between Mudford Road and Fairmead Road will be shut to pedestrians from Tuesday, June 16, to Thursday, June 18, for ducting works by Openreach.

The closure will stretch 21 metres from the junction with Fairmead Road, with the full public notice available to view at publicnoticeportal.uk/notice/traffic-and-roads/6a19852d642c066327d7d1ad?.

Somerset Council is implementing the closure under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, citing safety concerns and the necessity of the work.

The work will take place between 8am and 6pm each day.

An alternative route will be available to pedestrians.
