A footpath in Chard is set for temporary closure due to planned ducting works.

Somerset Council has announced the footpath between Glanvill Avenue and Thorndun Park Drive will be shut.

The closure affects the stretch from outside 10 Glanvill Avenue to outside 20 Glanvill Avenue, covering a distance of 38 metres.

The work is expected to start on Wednesday, June 17, and be completed by Friday, June 19, between 8am and 6pm.
