Bradfords partners with Saints Southwest for football scheme

Bradfords Building Supplies is partnering with Saints Southwest in a new community scheme in the South West.

Saints Southwest delivers coaching and education services across the region, working with schools, grassroots players and communities to promote physical activity, confidence and personal growth through sport.

As part of the partnership, Bradfords will support the Saints Southwest Primary School Community Cup, now renamed the Bradfords Primary School Community Cup.

The tournament is expected to involve up to 800 children this year.

David Young, chief executive of Bradfords Building Supplies, said: "As an independent, family-run business based in the South West, supporting our local communities has always been a big part of who we are.

"Partnering with Saints Southwest allows us to further back grassroots sport and help give more local children the opportunity to get involved, stay active and enjoy football in a positive, well-organised environment.

Bradfords has a history of supporting grassroots sport, including its own Community Cup in collaboration with the Exeter Chiefs.

The new partnership will help expand and improve the football tournament.

The sponsorship will help deliver a well-organised and inclusive sporting experience for children across the region, encouraging teamwork, participation and personal development.

Both organisations say the partnership demonstrates their joint commitment to supporting young people and strengthening community ties through sport.
