THE cheapest areas in Somerset for a pint have been revealed after a new report was published ranking the cheapest cities and towns.
As the cost of living continues to be a prominent issue across the UK, one of the simplest pleasures, enjoying a pint at your local pub, is also feeling the impact.
In response to growing public interest in price disparities across the country, Online Marketing Surgery (OMS) and MG Timber have created their Pint Report, which looks at areas in Somerset with the lowest price for a beer based off price averages.
Based on data sourced from Numbeo in May 2025, the report provides a “valuable insight into the wider affordability of dining out, with average prices for a three-course meal for two also included for added context.”
A spokesperson for OMS said: “So, whether you’re planning a night out or simply curious about how your local compares to the rest of the UK, the Pint Report offers a snapshot of where your money stretches the furthest and where it doesn’t.”
