A 'POPULAR' pub near Yeovil, Somerset has reopened this week after closing for over two weeks for refurbishments.
The Lord Nelson pub on Rectory Lane, Norton Sub Hamdon, near Yeovil closed its doors on January 6 for refurbishments and has officially reopened its doors yesterday (Thursday, January 23) with a brand-new bar.
A spokesperson for the Lord Nelson posted an update on social media yesterday that said: “We’re back. Have you missed us? Come and introduce yourself to our new bar.”

The pub is now back open for the usual business hours which are Tuesdays to Thursdays from 12-2pm and 6-10pm and from Friday to Sunday from 12-11.30pm.
Food is also back on as normal, however, those interested in a hot food meal need to book in advance by calling the restaurant at at 01935 881473.
The Lord Nelson pub is also hosting a quiz night on Sunday, January 26 for those of you who are currently searching for weekend plans to add to your calendar.
