A SOMERSET road will be closed this afternoon (Thursday, September 5) due to a “dangerous tree posing a safety risk”.
The A3088, Cartgate Link, will remain closed for the rest of the afternoon as a “dangerous tree is posing a safety risk to HGVs and other vehicles,” Travel Somerset said.

A spokesperson said: “The A3088 Cartgate Link will be closed this afternoon due to a dangerous tree posing a safety risk to HGVs and other vehicles.
“The road will reopen once tree surgeons have safely removed the tree.
