Folk music star Jon Boden is coming to South Petherton this summer.
He will perform at The David Hall - located on Roundwell Street - on Friday, September 13.
Doors will open at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £23 per person.
It will feature a mix of his musical journey, from the dynamic characteristics of Bellowhead to his post-Apocalyptic trilogy of albums.
Mr Boden, hailed as the "standout performer of his generation" by The Guardian, is renowned for his role as lead singer and main arranger of Bellowhead, the progressive folk band that has sold more than a quarter of a million albums.
He is also known for his part in the Hollywood movie About Time, with his track from the film racking up over 22 million plays on Spotify.
Since 2016, Mr Boden has been showcasing his solo show, a venture initiated during his tenure as Cambridge Folk Festival’s first guest artistic programmer.
His solo career started in 2006 with the album Painted Lady, followed by the award-winning Songs From The Floodplain, which earned him the title of Folk Singer of The Year at the 2009 BBC Folk Awards.
