One reviewer said: "You cannot go to a better coffee shop in Chard. Wonderful friendly atmosphere a varied menu and a great selection of drinks.

"Eleos is my No1 cafe, and just to add they have just won an award for "Cafe of the Year."

2. Mrs O's 15 Fore Street, Chard serves breakfast and lunch and has five stars on TripAdvisor. One reviewer said: "I'm not one for writing reviews but this breakfast is so nice i had to, staff are polite no need to go anywhere else in Chard for food Mrs OS hits differently."

One reviewer said: "The Green House was a real delight to eat at. I had the lentil pie and salad. Excellent!! My husband had the chocolate macaroon and coffee. He said that the macaroon was very fresh and mouth watering. The coffee is exceptional.  Highly recommended.
