POLICE are appealing to residents in an area of Kidderminster to contact them to share their experiences of gangs, weapons and anti-social behaviour.
Officers want people living in Broadwaters - particularly the Horsefair area - to get in touch to help them crack down on crime.
They have put out an appeal on West Mercia Police's neighbourhood matters system which shares information on crimes and appeals.
Police Constable Russell Bunce said: "Over 1,200 residents of Broadwaters are now signed up to Neighbourhood matters and already we have had some great results from information you have given us, thank you!.
"I am keen to hear from anyone on their views and experiences of gangs, weapons and anti-social behaviours in groups in Broadwaters, particularly the Horsefair.
"We rely heavily on information members of the public give us and where possible always act on any information received.
"It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime."
