CHARD business Numatic have been making a clean sweep after their new apprentice came top at an awards ceremony in London.
Daniel Pearce, 21, who lives in Axminster was declared winner of the Apprentice of the Year at the Plastics Industry Awards at top hotel the London Hilton in Park Lane. He won a trophy as well as a cheque for £1,000 after showing particular aptitude in electronics.
Daniel is working towards a BTec National award, a qualification which has been running at Numatic for over 15 years.
