CHARD Rotary Club held their annual cheque presentation evening on Tuesday.
President David Bide presented cheques for £2,000 each to Louisa Cowan, south coast community fundraiser for the British Heart Foundation, and to Jane Powell, community fundraiser for the Children's Hospice South-West.
The club has raised an additional £1,600 this year for international projects, including Shelter Boxes and Water Aid Boxes, and £1,290 was raised for the United Nations World Water Day.
Around £675 has also been handed out to local causes.
