A MAN has died after a collision on the A30 near Yarcombe yesterday afternoon (July 1).
The incident was a single-vehicle collision on the A30 involving a white Ford Fiesta.
Unfortunately, a Somerset man in his thirties was declared deceased at the scene.
A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police said:" On Saturday 1st July 2023 police attended a single-vehicle collision on the A30 near Yarcombe involving a white Ford Fiesta.
"A male in his thirties from the Somerset area was declared deceased at scene. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by police officers."
To investigate the incident the road was closed a for long period of time.
The spokesperson from the police added: "The police would like to thank the public for their patience while the road was closed to allow for an investigation by specialist officers.
"Anyone who witnessed this incident or who has dashcam footage is requested to call police on 101 quoting log 354 of 1st July 2023."
