A BUSY Somerset road remains closed this morning (Monday, June 12) due to overrunning roadworks.
National Highways South West says the A303 is currently closed in both directions between the A37/A372 and the A359 near Yeovil.
It had been scheduled to re-open at 6am today following the works, but the agency says it won't open until "at least 7am".
A locally signed diversion route is in place.
A National Highways spokesperson said: "If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time.
"Plan ahead, you may wish to re-route or even delay your journey."
