TWO people have been left injured after a two-car collision on the A303 between Newcott and Chard last night.
The crash happened at around 9pm on Wednesday January 25. Two cars, a Renault Espace and a Volkswagen van, reportedly crashed.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at around 8:40pm on Wednesday, January 25 with reports of a collision between a VW van and a Renault Espace on the A303, near the Yarcombe turning.
"The road was closed as police, ambulance and highways attended.
"The van driver was unharmed and the male driver of the Renault suffered minor injuries.
"However, the female passenger in the Renault, a women in her 70s, sustained chest and pelvic injuries and was taken to Musgrove Hospital for treatment.
"The road was reopened at around 11:40pm."
