POLICE officers have arrested a man with links to South Somerset and Dorset who was wanted “as part of numerous investigations”.

Avon and Somerset Police issued a wanted appeal for Daniel Kellaway, 27, on Monday, September 26.

They renewed their appeal in October and said he was known to frequent Yeovil, Castle Cary, Sherborne and Stalbridge.

Members of the public were urged not to approach Kellaway and asked to call 999 if they saw him.

Kellaway was arrested on Sunday, October 30, and the police have thanked members of the public who shared their appeal.

A spokesperson said: “Officers yesterday arrested Daniel Kellaway, who had links to South Somerset and Dorset. We previously issued a wanted appeal to find the 27-year-old as part of numerous investigations.

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal for information.”
