CHILDREN and staff members at a local primary school enjoyed making a mess during a fundraising colour run.
The event saw members of the PFA hurl powdered paint at teachers and pupils as they ran around the school's fields on Wednesday, September 28.
Photographs provided by the school show the participants smiling while covered in different coloured paints at the end of the session.
Jessica Evans, head of the school, said: “Thorncombe St Mary's CE Primary Academy have enjoyed a fantastic colour run on their school field.
“Obstacles were set up around the field and members of the PFA were positioned at various intervals with cups of dry powder paint.
“As children made their way around the field, paint was thrown in all directions!
“The children, staff and parents had a wonderful active time and the session was filled with laughter and smiles.
“This event was organised by the school's PFA to raise funds for the school.”
