Can you give any of these animals a loving forever home?
Somerset-based animal rescue centre West Hatch is looking to find permanent homes for dogs, cats, chickens and rabbits.

Rosé and Goblin are an approximately 4-month-old pair of kittens, who came into care from a multi-cat household. This brother-sister pair have had an overwhelming start to life and are now looking for a second chance.
Rosé and Goblin are looking for a calm, quiet home with owners who have some experience with nervous cats. They need to be the only pets in the house and may be able to live with sensible older children of secondary school age or above, pending a successful meet at the centre.
Pixie is a very sweet 10-year-old female Chihuahua who is looking for her forever home.
Pixie enjoys attention from her favourite people at West Hatch and once she knows you, she loves nothing better than having a cuddle and settling down on your lap. Initially, she is quite a nervous girl, so will need time and patience to settle into her new home. Once she is comfortable with you, her fun personality will shine through.
Boo is a 2-year-old female cat who loves to play and spend time around people.
Due to her need for support in her behaviour, she will need a home with an experienced owner who will be able to read her body language and encourage gentle and calm interactions. Boo would need to be the only pet to and would be too unpredictable to live with children. Due to her strong dislike of other cats, she needs a rural home.
Octavia is a very pretty 5-year-old white and black cat who came into care due to a change in her adopters' circumstances. She has settled in very well and is now ready to find herself a new home.
Octavia is a confident girl and loves attention. She enjoys short and sweet interactions where she can come and go as she pleases, and really enjoys playing. Octavia has a friendly personality and is always keen to greet people, and she loves to sit and watch the outdoors.
Jasper is a 2-year-old male cat who comes from a multi-cat household. Although Jasper has had an overwhelming start to life, he has settled in well to the cattery and has lots of love to give to his new home.
Once given the chance to get to know a new person, Jasper is a very sweet and affectionate cat who loves gentle attention and rolls around whilst being fussed.
It took a little while for Jasper to find his feet in the Cattery, but he has made fantastic progress and his confidence has grown hugely.
Gizmo is a small 2-year-old male cat that came to us from a multi-cat household.
He was overwhelmed in his previous home and would now like a quiet home to call his own.
Gizmo is a shy boy who often hides away, but once given time to get used to you, he does really enjoy a fuss and will come out to say hello.
Apple and Taz are a female and male pair of neutered young adult ferrets looking for a home together.
They were bonded in RSPCA care after Taz was signed over by his owner and Apple was found as a stray.
They are both friendly, confident ferrets who are good to handle but would benefit from an adopter who has some ferret experience.
Ferdinand, Hamilton and Maverick are three approximately 2-year-old male ferrets who were found straying together.
They are a friendly, interactive group who love to play and are looking for a home together. They are very good to handle and would be fine for first-time ferret owners.
Pinot is an approximately 5-year-old cat who came to West Hatch after being found living stray. She has a fantastic character and is a delight to have in the Cattery, but she's now looking to find her new home.
Pinot is a very lively girl who thoroughly enjoys playing and exploring her space. She is very friendly and loves spending time with people; she is always waiting for someone to come and say hello and really loves a cuddle.
Pinot is a wonderful cat with a huge personality and will bring lots of fun to her new family.
Cosmo (green) and Bellini (yellow) are a pair of lovebirds who arrived at West Hatch after their owner passed away.
Cosmo came in with feather loss and a skin lesion due to plucking, and while their condition has improved during their stay at the centre, Cosmo still does look quite scruffy.
They are now looking for an outdoor aviary home to share together, where they can fly freely.
Faye is a young adult female rex rabbit who was rescued from a property where a number of rabbits were being kept in unsuitable, dirty conditions.
She has a shy disposition but has improved during her stay at West Hatch. She is very food orientated and can be tempted over to take nuggets from your hand.
Faye has been treated for a condition called e. cuniculi. It is possible that she can remain a carrier, therefore she can only be rehomed with a neutered male rabbit who has also been exposed to e. cuniculi.
Tatiana is an adult female rex rabbit who was rescued from a property where a number of rabbits were being kept in unsuitable, dirty conditions.

Holly loves people but dislikes other dogs. Due to this Holly needs a home where she is able to keep a good distance from other dogs while out on walks.
Holly is a very sweet and active terrier. She loves being with people and after having a good walk enjoys nothing better than sitting next to you on the sofa, having a snooze and a cuddle. Holly also really enjoys playing with toys, especially if they squeak.
She is house trained and enjoys travelling in the car and has been left in her previous home for about an hour at a time with no problems.
Sycamore and Acorn are bantam cockerels who were found straying along with two other cockerels. They have not been reclaimed by an owner so are now looking for their forever homes. They all have sweet docile natures and have been sharing a pen together for some time.
A group of chickens will need a secure coop to roost in overnight, and access to a safe area during the day where they can scratch about on grass, dust bathe, and exhibit natural behaviour.
West Hatch has female pot-bellied pigs looking for a home.
A pair of pigs will ideally need a securely fenced half-acre paddock to provide them with the space to roam and forage.
An area of hard standing should be provided, as well as shelters to provide shade in the summer and a wallow for them to mud bathe. They must have access to at least one insulated ark or another solid shelter with bedding such as straw. Larger groups will need more space and access to multiple shelters and watering points.
Josie is a 4-year-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She came to West Hatch along with 3 other dogs having been found living in unsuitable conditions.
It is quite possible that Josie, along with her friends, never left the property at all. It is likely that she was left to toilet inside the house, was never walked on a lead or harness and was used to unpredictable social interactions with people.
Bay is a young male German Shepherd. On arrival Bay would react to unfamiliar people when out walking and react very strongly if any strangers approached his kennel environment.
It is possible that he has been taught or encouraged to do this. However, upon assessment, he showed that he was worried and underconfident around people. He could, however, make friends and, if he became worried, he could sometimes choose to take himself away, which we always allowed him to do.
Bay makes the transition from a suspicious reactive dog to a goofy loving boy within a few meetings with new people. He likes nothing better to be near to those he trusts and leans in for cuddles and back rubs when out on walks. He loves to play ball and is very intelligent and keen to please his people.
