YANDLES Art and Crafts held its Spring Handmade Market on Saturday, April 23, providing a free family day out for creative people on the edge of the Somerset Levels.

The was the first of three markets that will be held this year at Yandles & Son Ltd in Martock.

The market featured a variety of stalls, demonstrations from leading woodworkers and crafters, and in-store special offers.

A spokesperson for the event said: "Our Handmade Craft Market initially started in July 2015 and offered 30 pitches to makers, artist, wood turners and designers selling all manner of quality handmade goods.

"The success of the first craft market has led us to holding it twice yearly due to so much interest from local craftspeople.

"The event is completely free to the public, including free onsite parking, and is the perfect family day out for those who love unique and hand-crafted items."
