A NEW pre-school building in South Somerset opened its doors this weekend.
The building for St George's Pre-School in Hinton-St-George, part of Hinton St George Primary School, was officially opened on Saturday (March 19).
Charlotte Hall, headteacher, Jane Wheeler, governor and Reverend Bob Hicks took part in the opening event.
A spokesperson for the pre-school said: "The provision of this dedicated building was only made possible by generous donations and local fundraising.
"Sincere thanks are due for the support of many individuals in the community as well as a number of organisations.
"The morning was a great success and supported by many."
