RUNNERS of all abilities enjoyed a day out at the Frogmary 5k on Sunday (January 16).

RaceNation events hosted the run, and said it was an 'absolutely brilliant' event.

Catherine, a spokesperson for RaceNation, said: "It was an absolutely brilliant event enjoyed by all involved, the runners, spectators and the marshals who did a fantastic job giving lots of encouragement to all.

"The terrain was very wet and muddy in parts but certainly didn't deter any of the runners, they all finished with big smiley faces saying they loved it.

"A complimentary hogroast or bacon bap and hot drink was supplied by The Farm and Field Café at Frogmary Green Farm and the event was by kind permission of Claire and Nick Bragg owners of Frogmary Green Farm."

The first runner back was Michael Parrott in just 18 minutes and 39 seconds.

The next race organised by RaceNation will be Yeovil Half Marathon on Sunday, March 27.
