THERE are a number of exciting festive events taking place in Yeovil in November and December.

The Christmas lights were switched on last Friday (November 19), organised by Love Yeovil.

Love Yeovil, The Octagon Theatre and Westlands Entertainment Venue will also be hosting a number of festive events and performances.

Cllr Peter Gubbins said: “After such a challenging year, it is great to see so many events taking place in Yeovil this Christmas.

"The Christmas light switch-on has been a much loved event for many years, so being able to host this safely in the town centre once again is fantastic news for the community.”
